celestial body

He drew her face

Like a star

It seemed more appropriate

That way

The rest of body

Engulfed in a

Glowing darkness

He could not quite place her

She found the entire plan

Engaging but confusing

And floated through

As if a dream

Had kept her there

Waves of concentric energy

Flowed from the room’s center

So that both of them

Had to pause once in awhile

To catch their breath

The air was dense

And it felt as if space

Turned in on itself

“It’s time to go”

He said

And they both left

Before the star

Collapsed.
